Respiratory Care Education Annual Manuscript Submission

The AARC Education Section is pleased to invite educators to submit papers for consideration for publication in our upcoming journal. We welcome original research, applied research, and evaluations of educational methods related to respiratory care education. We also consider interpretive reviews of literature, educational case studies, and insightful point-of-view essays.

Submission Guidelines

  • Length: 6–10 pages (excluding abstract and references).
  • Abstract: 250 words or less, summarizing the paper’s key points and contributions.
  • Formatting: Manuscripts must adhere to the guidelines for authors established by Respiratory Care. This includes general manuscript format, text formatting, and reference formatting.

The deadline to submit a manuscript is Wednesday, March 27, 2024. For any questions or further information, please contact Mandy De Vries.

All contributing authors of the manuscript must be listed comprehensively below in the order of preferred publication, including the point of contact listed above.

Manuscript and Supplementary Documents

For a smooth submission process, please ensure:

  • The manuscript file is complete and adheres to all guidelines outlined in the call for manuscripts.
  • All pages, including images, tables, and additional documents, are numbered and feature a running header with your manuscript title (this helps us keep order within submissions).
  • Only the first uploaded file may contain author information. All subsequent pages must be de-identified. Please ensure all pages have a running header with the title and page numbers, and are de-identified for review purposes.
Attach a title page that includes: title of manuscript, all authors and their information as they would like it published, contributions, etc. This should be the only document that identifies the authors, their relationships, and contributions.
