Nominations for the 2026 Specialty Practitioner of the Year (SPOTY) Awards are now open.

Make a SPOTY Nomination

This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding professionals who have made a meaningful impact within their Specialty Section and the respiratory care community.

The deadline to submit a nomination is July 21. To nominate a candidate, you must be a member of a Specialty Section, and your nominee must also belong to the same Section. 2026 SPOTY Award recipients will be celebrated across AARC channels, including the AARC website, social media, and during the AARC Congress in New Orleans, LA.
