We are a diverse and passionate group of respiratory therapists, dedicated to promoting and facilitating respiratory wellness throughout the continuum of care for people with chronic and urgent health conditions that affect breathing; as well as, enhancing awareness of these conditions and their impacts.
Our section provides a venue for collaboration, allowing us to be synergistic in our achievements, learn from one another, and advance the practice of respiratory care together. In addition, section members share resources to avoid duplication of efforts and to enhance each other’s work.

- In 2018, the AARC Home Care, Long Term Care, and Continuing Care/Rehabilitation sections were merged into the Ambulatory and Post-Acute Care Section. Members of the Ambulatory and Post-Acute Care Section have access to archived materials from these sections, including newsletters and bulletins.
