AARC member Air Force Master Sgt. Matthew Parker, RRT, was featured in an article on dvidshub.net about his receipt of a long-awaited Distinguished Flying Cross from the U.S. Air Force for the critical care he provided to 11 multi-national and joint service members during a mass casualty evacuation operation in support of Operation Freedom’s Sentinel at Hamid Karzai International Airport on Aug. 27, 2021. The honor is especially meaningful for an RT since most recipients of the Distinguished Flying Cross are or were pilots. Read it Here
