Meet Lisa | New Director of Media & Engagement!

AARC welcomes Lisa Weisenberger as the new Director of Engagement and Media. She recently served as the Marketing Manager/Managing Editor for the American Medical Technologists (AMT) where she successfully implemented a new member print publication, engagement campaigns, online communities, and other innovative digital marketing and communications efforts. Prior to AMT, she was the Director of Marketing Communications at the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine (AOSSM). During her time at AOSSM, she spearheaded a successful rebranding initiative, a national public service campaign to prevent youth sports injuries, promoted association events, authors and research, and cultivated media relationships and outreach. 

“Lisa has abundant experience in healthcare association work that aligns closely with AARC’s strategic goals. Her strong talent is a great complement to the team – we’re so happy to have her focus on our publications, events, and website,” said Ellen Worsham, VP Marketing and Communications

Beyond her professional endeavors, Lisa remains committed to community volunteerism, serving as a past President and Board Member of Friends of Thorp, a Chicago Public Schools parent organization, and actively participating in fundraising initiatives for the March of Dimes.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and environmental studies from the University of Iowa. She currently resides in Chicago, IL.
