Delay in Cigarette Ban Alarms Advocates

thumbnail

AARC’s collaboration with other organizations aligned to achieve a ban on menthol cigarettes has led to a prominent ad in the Washington Post ad. After the ad ran, NPR picked it up and posted on their social platforms. AARC is very concerned about the White House delaying the menthol cigarette ban until March of 2024 and will continue to raise the alarm with anti-smoking advocates to ensure greater public health efforts are addressed and equitable.
