To help further leadership and professional development among AARC members, Dräger developed a scholarship for the AARC Advanced Leadership Institute. For the second 2023 scholarship, we are happy to announce that Gie Hartzog-Bunn is the proud recipient. Congratulations to Gie!

Gie is a registered respiratory therapist at Columbus Community Hospital in Nebraska. Gie also has over 15 years of experience in respiratory care.

The Advanced Leadership Institute courses provide real-world education for respiratory therapists looking to expand their knowledge beyond the clinical realm. The course, a foundation for career growth, focuses on education, management, and research. The scholarship, made possible through an unrestricted grant by Dräger, was available for the education or research track.

The AARC would like to thank all the applicants and Dräger for their support of this scholarship. Applications for the second 2023 scholarship are now open for the Advanced Leadership Institute! Applications for this wonderful scholarship will open again on Saturday, July 1.
