This lecture with review the physiology of swallowing in an infant and how the delivery CPAP or HFNC may or may not interrupt this physiology. It will also discuss available evidence in the safety of orally feeding infants receiving non-invasive respiratory support.

About the Presenter
Natalie is a PhD prepared RT clinical scientist in the Respiratory Therapy Department at the Children’s Hospital of Philadephia. She runs the research program in the RT department leading clinical and bench research important to the practice of respiratory therapists and the therapeutics that RTs deliver.
