Peter Allen, BSC, RRT, NPS, SDS, RST, RPSGT, FAAST, is chair of the AARC Sleep Specialty Section. With more than 35 years of respiratory, neuro, sleep and DME experience, Peter has worked as a sleep lab re-accreditations project manager and an ACHC surveyor. Peter has served on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Sleep Society and the American Association of Sleep Technologists. He also served as an Exam Consultant to the National Board for Respiratory Care, was a project manager for the Bermuda Center for Sleep Disorders and was a speaker at the World Sleep Society’s 2022 conference in Rome.
Peter currently serves as an accreditation consultant. One of his goals as Sleep Chair is to promote Sleep Section at the international, national and state levels.
