Elections Committee Questions:

What do you see as the biggest challenge facing the AARC, and what do you recommend to address it?

A major challenge facing the AARC is to fortify the membership base and effectively promote and advocate for the respiratory therapy profession. A collaborative effort is essential to enhance respiratory therapists’ awareness of the advantages of AARC membership, advocacy endeavors, and the support provided for the advancement of our profession.

Healthcare is changing more rapidly than ever. What ideas do you have to help today’s respiratory therapist meet these changes?

Our foremost challenge today is addressing the shortage of respiratory therapists. We must direct our efforts towards promoting and recruiting more students to join this profession.

Your role as Director-at Large is to represent the general AARC membership. If given the opportunity to represent, what will be your strategy in advocating for the everyday respiratory care professional?

If entrusted with the role of Director at Large, I am keen to engage in collaborative ventures with educational institutions and organizations to champion respiratory therapy as a fulfilling career path.
