Race-Neutral PFT Reference Equations, New Guidance Aimed at Reducing Disparities in Health Care

About This Course

This discussion will focus on the newer studies and guidance documents related to race and pulmonary function reference values, and consider recommendations for future use of reference equations. Our presenter will review why new guidance regarding race is being recommended, and how adopting race-neutral PFT reference equations and pattern recognition of spirometry can help reduce disparities in healthcare.

Successful completion of this course requires a score of 70% on the post-test.
