This review is based on the presentation sponsored by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, “Incident Reporting and Closing the Safety Feedback Loop,” by Rich Branson, presented at AARC Congress 2017 held in Indianapolis, Indiana. The objective of this program was to raise awareness about the importance of device incident reporting and how incident reporting can improve patient safety.

Successful completion of this course requires a score of 80% on the post-test.

Educating respiratory therapists on the importance of knowing how and when to report incidents in their institution
