AARC Welcomes Shirin Bolhari

thumbnail

AARC is pleased to announce the addition of Shirin Bolhari as the new Accreditation Manager in the Education Department.

Shirin is a first-generation Iranian immigrant with a professional background spanning HR, legal operations, higher education compliance, and certification oversight. Beginning her career as an art major and moving through roles at Target, Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith, the University of Louisville, and CFP Board, she has built a strong ability to adapt across industries, understand complex systems, and strengthen the processes that support them. Her cross-sector experience has shaped her core strengths: clear, thoughtful communication; collaborative work across departments and disciplines; and a keen ability to identify operational gaps and transform them into efficient, well-organized workflows.

In addition to her professional work, Shirin is an active community advocate who values equity, connection, and service. She brings a warm, people-centered approach to every team and is excited to contribute her process-focused perspective to AARC’s accreditation initiatives. When she’s not working, she’s usually adventuring with her partner, dog, and cat.
