The RESPIRATORY CARE Journal is looking for a respiratory therapist intern who will:
- Prepare CRCE questions and visual abstracts
- Participate in weekly staff meetings via Microsoft Teams
- Shadow the editorial staff in the manuscript decision process
- Assist the the editor-in-chief in editorial decisions as assigned
- Shadow Journal staff in the production process (proofreading, etc.)
- Prepare a paper for publication in RESPIRATORY CARE
- Maintain confidentiality of all Journal activities
Qualifications are registered respiratory therapist; minimum baccalaureate degree, graduate degree preferred; minimum 5 years of experience as a respiratory therapist; published in Respiratory Care or other peer-reviewed journals preferred; reviewer for Respiratory Care or another peer-reviewed journal preferred.
The intern must commit to eight hours/week for 6 months; either January to June 2026, or July to December 2026.
