AARC Disaster Relief Fund

The AARC Disaster Relief Fund was launched in 1992 to assist members who have suffered damage to their homes or other personal property as a result of a state-declared natural disaster. As natural disasters have increased, the fund has been activated to help members who’ve lost property due to hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, earthquakes, and fires.

“The AARC disaster relief program has been such a huge help. We had a large tree take out a fence in our backyard and the extra money provided by the AARC really helped in the costs to have it repaired. We are so grateful for the AARC and all the help it’s been providing,”  AARC Member from Georgia, Tony Srott.

Once activated, members have 90 days to apply for a grant of up to $500. Only individuals who were members of the AARC at the time of the disaster are eligible for grants from this fund. See the AARC Disaster Relief Policy for more information.
