Day 1 — Saturday, July 15

Day 1 kicks off with the Welcome Address from AARC President Carl Hinkson, followed by the inaugural Sam Giordano Leadership Lecture Series, which will include a discussion on guiding new leaders. The day continues with sessions that discuss strategic relationships, employee retention, bridging the gap with adjunct faculty, RT performance, interprofessional collaboration, creating an inclusive environment, energizing students, expressive arts, learning assessments, and the Safe and Effective Staffing Guide. The Expo area will have its grand opening and plenty of exhibitors will be waiting to discuss the latest in respiratory equipment with you. Day 1 closes with the AARC Welcome Party!

Day 2 — Sunday, July 16

Day 2 begins with the annual Jimmy Young Memorial Lecture. Sessions will then focus on accreditation, staff engagement, expanding the RRT role, critical thinking skills, staffing shortages, raising future leaders, and medical director engagement. The Expo area will also be open for you to explore and chat about the latest respiratory technology. Day 2 also includes meetings for the Leadership and Management and Education sections.

Day 3 — Monday, July 17

Day 3 kicks off with an Agency Update from the leaders of the AARC, ARCF, NBRC, and CoARC. Next is the annual Dr. H. Fred Helmholtz Education Lecture Series. Sessions for the day focus on accreditation visits, psychological safety, achieving Apex, and respiratory care protocols. Day 3 closes with Joel Brown delivering an inspiring message based on his TEDx Talk, “What’s Next For You, RT?”
