Pre-courses add value

Pre-courses going on today are giving Congress-goers the chance to add extra value to their meeting attendance.

Those attending the “Challenges in Mechanical Ventilation: an Interactive Approach” session are gaining practical information on common patient-ventilator synchrony problems and their solutions via demonstrations using a real ventilator and a breathing simulator.

The “Women in Leadership” course is delivering the knowledge women and men alike need to maximize the leadership potential of women and leverage those skills to benefit health care organizations.

Beginning and advanced practitioners alike are acquiring additional skills at the “Ultrasound Guided and Emergent Vascular Access Simulation Workshop” through simulation training on ultrasound assessment and needling techniques with the use of ultrasound, arterial, venous, and intraosseous device insertion.
