Complimentary shuttle service will be provided during the day starting Friday, Nov. 8 through Tuesday, Nov. 12 between these hotels and the convention center: New Orleans Marriott (#1), Hilton Riverside (#6), Omni Riverfront (#8), Renaissance Arts (#9), and the Residence Inn Downtown Convention Center (#10). Shuttle service between the Courtyard French Quarter on St. Charles (#3) and the convention center will start on Saturday, Nov. 9.
You are required to make your reservation using a credit card. The credit card will be kept on file as a guarantee for one night’s room, tax and occupancy fee for each room reserved. You may choose to follow up by sending a check to pay the deposit (one night’s room, tax and occupancy fee for each room reserved). Checks must be received by Friday, Sept. 27, 2019 to avoid the credit card on file being charged the deposit amount.

By securing your hotel reservation in the official AARC room block through our official housing bureau, Orchid Events, you agree to the following cancellation policy for your AARC Congress 2019 hotel reservation(s). These cancellation fees are paid as liquidated damages and not as a penalty.
Hotel reservations may be cancelled for any reason without a fee up to and including Monday, Sept. 16, 2019. After this date, the following cancellation fee schedule will apply for each reservation canceled.

Prior to Oct. 17, 2019, any changes to hotel reservations in which the guest moves/switches from one convention hotel to another (over the same dates) will be excluded from cancellation fees.
The cancellation fee will be collected/charged by Orchid Events for each room reservation cancelled. The credit card information on file at the time the reservation is cancelled will be charged the applicable cancellation fees. No exceptions or refunds will be granted.

Special requests cannot be guaranteed; however, the hotels will do their best to honor all requests. The hotel will assign specific room types upon check-in, based on availability.
