Whether by plane, train or automobile, we can’t wait to see you at Congress next month (Oct. 4 – 7). If you opt for the automobile route, did you know there are fun sights to see and activities to do on your road trip into Indianapolis?
Driving North on I-65
Stop in Columbus, IN, the modern architecture capital, and check out Exhibit Columbus, an annual exploration of architecture, art, design, and community. The exhibition is free and open to the public. While you’re there, be sure to visit The Miller House, a National Historic Landmark designated for its expression of American modernism. For anyone who appreciates art and design, it’s not to be missed.
Driving North on I-69
Stop in Bloomington, IN, home of Indiana University and beautiful fall foliage.
Driving East on I-74
The interstate pretty much ends at the Racing Capital of the World: the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home of the famed Indy 500. Did you know that in 1987 the speedway grounds were designated as a National Historic Landmark? Be sure to check out the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum to learn more about the site.
Driving South on I-65
Take in the fall foliage at Eagle Creek Park.
Rally to Congress
No matter which direction you’re coming from, if you’re a motorcycle enthusiast, we have a new event just for you: the Rally to Congress Charity Rally. Sponsored by Draeger, Inc., motorcyclists will ride from their hometowns to Indianapolis, IN for AARC Congress 2017. All funds raised through the rally will benefit the American Respiratory Care Foundation (501c3), a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting respiratory health through the support of research, education, and patient-focused philanthropic activities in respiratory care. Visit our Rally to Congress page to learn more and sign up.
