As part of Big Ideas Theater 2019, AARC President Karen Schell, DHSc, RRT, RRT-NPS, RRT-SDS, RPFT, RPSGT, AE-C, CTTS, discusses how the AARC board is moving forward with the six horizon goals, helping to grow the profession.

Schell explained that 2019 has been filled with landmark events, such as the board approving the new entry to respiratory therapy by 2030 documents. She also encouraged AARC members to stay at the forefront of trending topics, such as COPD and vaping. In closing, Schell offered tips on how RTs, at any level in their career, can strive to give back and support their community.
