Executive Office Leadership

Daily operations are maintained by a paid staff team, working to meet members’ needs and advance the organization. The staff team is led by an Executive Director and strong leadership team to manage the various divisions of the AARC.

Executive Director

In addition to overseeing AARC operations, the Executive Director works in direct connection with the Board of Directors to carry out the mission and strategic plan of the organization.

Chief Financial Officer

The Chief Financial Officer oversees the entire in-house accounting team as well as manages all financial responsibilities for the organization. They provide regular financial updates to the Board of Directors, ensuring the AARC is a good steward of funds.

Senior Vice President of Government Affairs

Advocacy is a vital responsibility of the AARC in order to help advance the mission of the organization and support the profession. The Senior Vice President of Government Affairs works to develop and promote the importance of respiratory therapy-related legislative initiatives. This work includes working with the volunteer-led PACT and organizing visits to congressional leaders to discuss legislation and concerns.

Vice President of Business Development

Corporate Partners and sponsorship opportunities help the AARC provide unique educational content and programs for our members. Our Vice President of Business Development seeks out these connections to help advance the mission of the AARC.

Vice President of Membership and Customer Care

Members are the heart of the AARC, and, under the direction of the division’s Vice President, the Membership and Customer Care team dedicate themselves to bringing service and value to members and future members. This includes supporting member needs and seeking opportunities to enhance member benefits.

Vice President of Education and CRCE Accreditation

The Vice President of Education and CRCE Accreditation seeks out and develops relevant and effective educational programs for the organization. This role also oversees the CRCE Accreditation process for other organizations delivering educational content for respiratory therapists.

Vice President of Meetings and Events

Leading a team of talented staff members to bring stellar, high quality educational and networking events to all members of the AARC. The Vice President of Meetings and Events brings together the work of convention planning and exhibitor management, all to the benefit of members.

Vice President of Marketing and Communications

The Vice President of Marketing and Communications leads a team of marketing, social media, creative services, engagement, and digital content experts. They work to promote the AARC, its volunteer leadership, and members to elevate the organization and profession as a whole.

Vice President of Information Technology

Ensuring all online platforms, information systems, and database programs in use by the AARC are intact for member use, the Vice President of Information Technology leads a strong IT team to carry out these responsibilities. They also work to seek out new technology opportunities, keeping the AARC membership and staff at the forefront of new developments.

Director of Governance and Strategic Initiatives

The Director of Governance and Strategic Initiatives supports volunteer leadership programs, namely serving as liaison to the AARC House of Delegates, supporting Chartered Affiliates, and leading orientation efforts for volunteers. This position also supports the strategic plan initiatives through project planning and tracking, working with all divisions of the AARC.
