Learn the Skills You Need to Lead RTs
Explore the hot-button issues facing your department with sessions addressing patient care, staff development, and ways to create value for your services.
Find new ways to implement protocols, work more closely with the interdisciplinary team, develop disease management programs, and gain a better understanding of service lines and compliance. Plus, you can boost your value by attending the AARC Master Class Interprofessional Education: Creating a Culture of Collaboration on July 12, one day before Summer Forum kicks off.
Summer Forum is your opportunity to dig deeper into everything – from teaching techniques and tools, to enhancing undergraduate research opportunities. The Educator’s Track will also include a CoARC Symposium on day one where you’ll gain insights for 2020 accreditation standards, APRT program development, RC educator essentials and some guidelines for program recruitment and retention.
Plus, you won’t want to miss the added value when you register one day early for July 12 to attend either the Affiliate Pre-Courses and/or AARC Master Class*! Educator’s will have the opportunity in the morning to participate in the Affiliate Pre-Courses with the NBRC and CoARC’s Meet the Commission*; where the NBRC will address issues that impact learning assessments and the CoARC program referees will meet with individual educators to discuss their questions, review policies, standards, processes and more.
*Attendance for the Affiliate CoARC Meet the Commission Pre-Course is on a first-come, first-served basis and attendees are required to pre-register – details for pre-registration will be provided when the online program is released. Pre-Registration is also required for the AARC Master Class Interprofessional Education: Creating a Culture of Collaboration.
There’s no better way to rejuvenate and learn – escape to one of North America’s most iconic lodges in the majestic Little Cottonwood Canyon with astounding views of the mountains and canyons. The Cliff Lodge* is within walking distance to Snowbird’s pedestrian village and offers the finest in lodging and dining, plus luxurious features such as a rooftop pool and hot tub, The Cliff Spa, a yoga studio and salon services. And while you’re taking a break from the sessions, make sure to explore the wildflowers on the many hiking trails and abundance of summer activities.
*Note: Housing Information
Housing for AARC Summer Forum 2020 is not open. Unauthorized housing entities may contact attendees and exhibitors to book Snowbird hotel reservations. Neither the AARC, nor the AARC Summer Forum Housing Bureau, will be making unsolicited calls regarding hotel reservations. Booking through an unofficial housing company puts you at risk for losing significant deposits and hotel reservations, and incurring hidden costs. The official, authorized phone numbers and links will be on the AARC.org website when housing opens. Plenty of rooms at the AARC’s special meeting rate will be available at the headquarters hotel.
