Director / Instructor of the Respiratory Care Program – Reading Area Community College

Reading Area Community College has an immediate opening for a Director/Instructor of Respiratory Care Program who will be responsible for the total administration of the Respiratory Care Program as its Program Director.  This individual is responsible for the organization, administration, periodic review, continued development, and effectiveness of the educational program.  In this activity, the Program Director will cooperate fully with the Medical Director for the program, the Advisory Committee for the program, and with the Clinical Director of Respiratory Care.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university (accredited by a regional accrediting agency) required, with a Master’s Degree preferred. At least four years full-time experience in respiratory therapy of which two years must be experience on the faculty of an accredited respiratory program.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Must hold a current professional license as required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
