Registered Respiratory Therapist:
We have openings for full-time and part-time roles on both days and nights. We also have a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for Respiratory Therapists with more than 1 year of professional experience and relocation assistance for those who qualify.
The Respiratory Care Department provides comprehensive care to children in our Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU, Cardiac Care Unit, acute care areas, and in our level 1 trauma certified emergency department. Lurie Children’s therapists are also an integral part of the multidisciplinary care team for our Pulmonary Habilitation Program – one of the largest of its kind in the country – caring for ventilator dependent children. Our Respiratory Therapists have the opportunity to participate in multidisciplinary care planning, making recommendations for care, and participating in quality improvement initiatives and research.
Respiratory Therapist Sleep Technician:
Full time, night shift position. This position performs comprehensive sleep testing analysis, evaluation, and treatment of respiratory related sleep disorders under the general supervision of the clinical director or designee. This may involve polysomnography with ventilator and positive airway pressure titrations. Has the ability to complete administrative tasks as well as technical duties.
