Join our nationally ranked team at UAB Medicine, the No. 1 Best Large Employer in 2021 according to Forbes magazine. All full time positions currently offer a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
As a respiratory therapist at UAB, you’ll work alongside some of the brightest minds in medicine practicing the latest evidence-based treatments. That means not only handling outpatient, inpatient, neonatal, and adult care, but also working on cases such as adult CF, bronchiectasis, heart and lung transplant, and interstitial lung disease.
Over 200 respiratory therapists work across all of UAB Medicine, which includes the state’s only Level 1 Trauma Center. Our therapists’ involvement extends beyond simply monitoring ventilators and administering breathing treatments. As a member of our team, you’ll autonomously manage ventilator protocols while weaning them from their ventilators. Plus, all of our therapists are respected members of the interdisciplinary team, which means you’ll often be asked to round with care team members so you can be actively involved in the decision-making process relating to individual patient care.
Neonatal Registered Respiratory Therapists (RRT) are needed in our Level IV Regional Neonatal ICU. Part-time and full-time PM positions are available and include a $5,000-$10,000 sign-on bonus for new hires. Resumes can be emailed to email@example.com.
