POSITION SUMMARY

Panakeia, LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. We are offering a competitive pay package, as well as the use of a Company Vehicle. We are establishing a Home Oxygen Equipment and Service business for patients needing the delivery, setup and maintenance of supplemental home oxygen therapy in the New Jersey/NYC area. We are looking for a total of 5 licensed RRT’s, registered in New York, New Jersey or both.

The RRT will deliver Home Oxygen and/or Home Respiratory equipment, provide clinical evaluations and education to our home oxygen patients and caregivers; complete necessary documentation and respiratory therapy to patients consistent with company policy regarding, The Joint Commission (TJC), quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls, and company performance measures. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and be organized. Compassion for the elderly and a patient nature are a must.

 Essential Job Functions

  • Manages material requirements and receives physicians’ orders to provide and assist with home oxygen set-up and deliveries to patients.
  • Ensures compliance with company standards for TJC, cost control, waste reduction, quality patient care, safety, and complete and on-time delivery.
  • Complies with state and federal regulations and licensure.
  • Maintains a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity, and continued improvement.
  • Communicates clearly and directly with other employees.
  • Participates in Performance Improvement process and adhering to approved methods to improve area operations, processes, efficiency and service to both internal and external customers.
  • Maintains and develops personal competencies, skills and licenses.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

No Supervisory Responsibilities

Physical Demands

  • Regularly lift/carry items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Frequent prolonged standing, sitting, and walking.

Job Type: Part-time, hourly rates

Pay: Discussed Individually.  Negotiable based on education and experience. Benefits Package applies to only full-time employees.
