Respiratory Care will be going out of print after December 2022. We decided to make this change based on the high quality of the online publication, the increasing cost of printing and postage, and the decreasing number of print subscribers.
However, it is essential to recognize that the Journal is not going away. The online Journal will be unchanged. Moreover, reading Respiratory Care online has several benefits not available in the print Journal. You can read papers on any device with an internet connection, in HTML or PDF. In addition to the entire article, you can download tables and figures and easily search through site content. Not only can the current issue be read, but every issue back to 2003 is readily available.
