Leadership Grand Rounds

New Leadership Series for AARC Members

No matter your location, we believe all respiratory therapists are leaders. To help all AARC members further develop their professional skills, the AARC launched a new non-CRCE education series: Leadership Grand Rounds.

As a new benefit for AARC members, these one-hour virtual sessions take place on the third Thursday of each month, kicking off Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. CST. Leadership Grand Rounds are provided exclusively to AARC members, and the registration is free. Attendees must register for each program individually.

Topics address a wide range of leadership issues. The speakers will provide participants with the knowledge to increase leadership skills and competencies.

The monthly sessions will be moderated by Joel M Brown, MSM-HCA, RRT, FAARC, and Garry Kauffman, RRT, FAARC, MPA, FACHE. Attendees will be able to use the chat feature to ask questions during the session.

January Leadership Grand Rounds Meeting

The Tao of Association Leadership: Governance versus Management of the AARC

The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted our healthcare system including our hospitals, clinics, and even our professional societies. No group has been spared. Now more than ever the volunteer leaders of the association must work together with the paid staff to recover the profession and lead into the post-Covid era. Come listen as AARC President Carl Hinkson and AARC ED Daniel Garett discuss the Yin and the Yang of leading the AARC.

Register for the January meeting by going to the schedule, registration & on-demand page.
