World COPD Day@the State Capitol

World Spirometry Day is Thursday, October 14, 2010 and our State Societies will be hosting and holding World Spirometry Day events at their state capitols.

Here’s what we’re asking you to do: Man a booth to provide COPD spirometry testing and pass out educational materials about COPD and the profession in your State Capitol or state department of health building. All of this will educate legislators and their staff about COPD, while at the same time promote our profession.

To help you make those events as successful as possible, we invite you to use these ideas and our reproducible graphics as you plan your events.
