Current Chair

Mike Runge, BS, RRT, FAARC, Chair

Mike is the Director of the Respiratory Therapy Department/Heart & Vascular Center at St. Alexius Medical Center in Bismarck ND.  Mike currently oversees Respiratory Therapy, the Sleep Center, EEG Lab, Echo Lab, Stress Lab, PFT Lab, Abg Lab, ECG Management, Heart Cath. Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, Interventional Radiology, Heart & Vascular Care Recovery Unit.

Mike earned his BS degree in respiratory care from the University of Mary in 1982 in Bismarck ND.

A member of the AARC since 1982, Mike has served in numerous capacities in his state society including President and Delegate.  He has also served on the AARC Board of Directors in numerous capacities and was the 2006 AARC President.  Mike now serves as the chair of the Sleep Section which has over a 1000 members, thus holding a seat on the AARC Board of Directors.
