Tony Stigall
Tony Stigall, MBA, RRT, RPSGT, Chair

Tony is president of the Space Coast Sleep Disorders Center, a four-bed sleep center he established in Melbourne, FL, in July 2006. Under the supervision of Medical Director James P. Shaffer, MD, the center received accreditation with provisos from the American Academy of Sleep Medicine in June 2009.

Tony earned his BS degree in respiratory care from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 1994 and his master’s degree in business administration from UCF in 2003. He earned his registered polysomnographic technologist credential in 2007.

Prior to his work in the sleep center, Tony had served as a respiratory therapist at Florida Hospital in Orlando, FL, and at Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes; he was an advanced respiratory therapist at Holmes Regional Medical Center (HRMC). He went on to manage the Respiratory Services, Electroneuro Diagnostics and Pulmonary Function Laboratory at HRMC and Palm Bay Community Hospital. Tony is also a veteran of the U.S. Army after having served several years at Fort Rucker, AL.

A member of the AARC since 2003, Tony serves as the chair of a specialty section with 1,000 or more members, thus holding a seat on the AARC Board of Directors.
