Douglas S. Laher, MBA, BSRT, RRT, is currently serving as director of respiratory care services at Fairview Hospital in Cleveland, OH. An active member of the AARC since 2000, he has served on the Membership Committee and Protocol Implementation Task Force, and has also held seats on subcommittees on COPD Awareness and Asthma Education.
On the state level, Doug has represented the Northeast District to the Ohio Society for Respiratory Care (OSRC) and served on the OSRC’s board of directors. He was an Ohio member of the AARC’s Political Advocacy Contact Team in 2003-2004, and he has also been active with the Greater Cleveland Asthma Coalition.
Doug has published in numerous professional magazines over the years, including AARC Times. He earned his BSRT degree from The Ohio State University in 1993 and his master’s in business administration from Ashland University in 2006.
