AARC and Edison Nation Medical have teamed up on a new innovation search to uncover ways for improving aerosol therapy for patients with respiratory disorders.

The partnership of AARC and Edison helps bring the ideas of respiratory therapists to the marketplace by allowing AARC members to have an outlet for their creativity in solving medical problems.

AARC’s Executive Director Thomas Kallstrom MBA RRT FAARC said, “We know that respiratory professionals intimately understand the technology, patient barriers and challenges faced each day in administering aerosol treatments, and that it’s important to further explore their ideas and concepts for possible advancements in aerosol therapy and patient care.”

The partnership with Edison is an AARC member benefit. There is a small investment of $25 to submit ideas to Edison Nation Medical for evaluation.

In this latest search for new treatments and technologies, Edison Nation Medical president Robert Grajewski says, “AARC advocates on behalf of patients as well as respiratory therapists and they’re committed to uncovering innovations that improve patient compliance and patient outcomes. We are thrilled to extend our partnership in this new direction to uncover innovations that make a difference for chronic lung patients and their families.”
