AARC is partnering with the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute to promote their campaign, Learn More, Breathe Better.

The NHLBI has many materials available to assist you in planning an educational event or to have resource materials available.


Get reproducible COPD materials at the Learn More, Breathe Better campaign site.

Consider these ideas. Materials to support these ideas are located on the NHLBI campaign website.

  • Give an update to your staff, giving them the latest information and statistics on COPD, the 4th leading cause of death.
  • Visit a community group—at a Senior Center, local club, or church group.
  • Call your local radio stations and see if they will play the radio PSAs provided as part of the campaign.
  • Use the print ads in your hospital newsletter.
  • Order pocket-sized reference materials for your staff.
