Respiratory Care Protocols:
Benefits for Patients, Therapists and Hospitals
A special member benefit has arrived in your mailbox! A booklet entitled
Respiratory Care Protocols: Benefits for Patients, Therapists and Hospitals
was mailed directly to you or is available by PDF form at right and
offers these great advantages:
- A special benefit FOR AARC MEMBERS ONLY
- Latest information on respiratory care protocols
- 4 CRCE credits
- Free!
The booklet resulted from a special symposium held at the AARC’s
50th International Respiratory Congress in New Orleans last December.
Both the presentation of the symposium and the production and mailing
of the booklet, were enabled by an unrestricted educational grant
from Sepracor.
This is a unique opportunity for you to review and learn about the
importance of using protocols in our practice. In the words of Sam
Giordano, AARC Executive Director, “There is an ever-growing
body of evidence which documents that when respiratory therapists
are allowed to provide respiratory therapy via protocol, clinical outcomes
improve, misallocation of respiratory therapy services decreases,
and
costs associated with respiratory therapy are reduced.”
Approved for 4.0 contact hours of continuing education credit (CRCE)
free of charge to all AARC members, this is a unique opportunity
for you to stay ahead of the curve in this ever-changing health care
environment.
Make sure you take advantage of another AARC membership benefit!
Full details about obtaining your CRCE credits are included on page
33 of the booklet. As you read the instructions on page 33, you will
be asked to proceed to this
page that provides you with information on obtaining your
credits.
