Get Schooled on High School Recruitment
Sure, school’s out for the summer. But now is the time to start
thinking about how you can help promote your profession in high schools
during the next school year. The AARC’s new High School Career
Project has everything you need to go into your local schools and present
a great program that’ll get kids interested in “being an RT”!
Summer Meetings Hotel Deadline June 21
Going to the Summer Meetings? If you have yet to make your hotel reservations, now is the time. The deadline for making room reservations using the special AARC rate of $85 + tax + $5 resort fee for single or double occupancy is Thursday, June 21.

Senators Lend Voice to NIH Funding Issue
The AARC has gone on record in support of increased funding for the National Institutes of Health, and now key senators are taking up the call as well. The Association just learned the senators have written their colleagues on the Appropriations Committee asking that the funding be granted.
