World Asthma Day is coming up on May 6, and it’s a perfect time for respiratory therapists to step into the spotlight and educate their communities on this chronic condition and how it can be better managed. We want to hear from you too, so click on the link to learn more and share ways you’re promoting asthma awareness in your own communities any time of year. Summer Meetings Have it All
There is literally something for everyone at this year’s Summer Meetings, July 9–14, at the beautiful all-suites Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort in Phoenix, AZ. Managers and educators will benefit from the traditional Summer Forum, clinical educators can take advantage of the new Clinical Preceptor Training program, and clinicians can prepare to sit for the asthma educator-certified exam by attending the Asthma Educator Certification Preparation Course. Register by May 21 for earlybird savings.

Submit Open Forum Abstracts by June 1
Planning to present an abstract at the 2008 Open Forum in Anaheim? Then apply the finishing touches and get ready to send it our way. The submission deadline is June 1.
