You Think You Know the Summer Forum, Look Again
Take a new look at the AARC's summer meetings program. A whole package
of educational opportunities is offered up this summer in Phoenix. The
AARC's annual Summer Forum, a clinical preceptor's workshop, the Asthma
Certification Preparation course, item writing workshop, site visitor
retraining and a host of other activities will be July 9-14. Best of all
it's at a great resort with golf, pools, dining, and other great vacation
attractions. The program is now online, so begin planning your summer
now.

How to Celebrate Earth Day?
Read what your fellow members are doing to protect the environment and
promote ecological health. There are a host of ideas. Earth Day is April
22.
AARC
Executive Represents Profession at Allied Health Meeting
The AARC was once again well represented at the Spring meeting of the
Health Professions Network by Director of Education and Management Bill
Dubbs. Dubbs joined colleagues from around 200 other organizations interested
in promoting the allied health careers and addressing other key topics
of concern.
Association Headquarters Sustains Minor Storm Damage
If you live in or near Texas, you probably heard about the storms that
hit the Dallas area last week. But you probably didn’t know AARC
headquarters was in one of the affected areas. Luckily, the storm damage
was more of a minor inconvenience than anything else – but an Association
executive was still interviewed by a local news station covering the event.

First 5 Section Bulletins Online Now
Specialty Section members who belong to the Adult Acute Care, Continuing Care & Rehabilitation, Diagnostics, Education, and Home Care Sections are busy reading the latest news and information about their areas of expertise. New Bulletins were just posted. The remaining five sections will publish their Spring editions next month.
Open Forum Abstracts Due June 1
Are you planning to submit an abstract for the 2008 Open Forum in Anaheim? Then better get busy and finish up your work! The submission deadline is quickly approaching. All abstracts must be in by June 1. The good news is, you can do it all right online at Abstract Central.
