How to Register for a Live Webcast

Click on the Webcast Central icon on the right side of the AARC home page:

Locate the live webcast you want view and click on the “Register for this Event” button:

On the Event Registration page, log in if you are an AARC member. Click Sign Up if you are not a member of the AARC to read more about the sign up process:

Assuming you are an AARC member and clicked the Log In link above, continue with these instructions. On the login page, enter your member number and your password then click the “Sign On” button. Unless you have changed it, the password given to you by the AARC is your AARC member number plus your first and last initial:

Now that you are logged in with your member number, click the “check-out” button below the name of the webcast:

You are taken to the Check-Out Basket page. To complete the registration process, you must click the “check-out” button. Your basket shows you are paying $0.00 for the webcast. This is correct because you are registering for a live webcast, which is a free event for AARC members. You will not be charged anything, but you are completing a transaction to “write” your registration order to your member record:

Your registration process is complete when you have reached this page called “Purchase Detail.” This is your confirmation that your registration is complete. You will also receive an email:
