Quick Guide to AARC Mailing List Archives

The AARC mailing lists offer archive and search capabilities for Section lists and Roundtables.

  1. Open the List web page by going to: listserv.aarc.org in a browser window. You can also use the address mail.aarc.org

If you have logged in previously, it will remember your information and all you need to do is click “Subscriber’s Corner”. If you are already logged in, go to step 2.

  1. a. If you are not logged in, you will have to select “Log in”, then this page will open.

  1. b. You MUST use the same email address that your list email comes to in order to view or search the Archives. You will need to enter your password. If you do not have a password, you can easily obtain one by simply clicking on the blue link that says “get a new LISTSERV password”. It will be sent to the email address after filling in the following form. This password may be different from the password used on the AARC member pages.

  1. You may see a notice that no lists are available for browsing. Simply type in the name of the list you want to access in the box labeled Access Unlisted Archives, such as diagnostics, MGMT, or Informatics (they are not case-sensitive). The name of the list you want is shown in each message you receive from the list; it is the name that precedes "@mail.aarc.org" (eg, the Management Section list is "mgmt"; the Disaster Response Roundtable list is "response".) You must be subscribed to the list before you can search or view the archives.

  1. You will then see the list of weeks when email messages have been sent to the list.
