We Have a Vision

Professional organizations often find themselves trying to be all things to all people, and the AARC is no different.

We ensure representation for RTs on Capitol Hill. We work to improve benefits and increase membership numbers. We get involved in promoting good lung health. We provide a vast array of educational opportunities for therapists. We publish numerous journals, magazines, and newsletters. We host state-of-the-art conferences and seminars. We sponsor an award-winning web site. And we take advantage of every opportunity to promote the profession to key decision-makers and the general public.

How do we stay focused? A new Vision/Mission Statement just approved by the AARC Board of Directors is helping everyone keep their eye on the ball. Developed by the Strategic Planning Committee, the statement is already being used both internally and externally to let everyone know what the AARC is all about.
