And it CAN be free to anyone who joins the section in the next 30 days. Even if sleep medicine isn't in your repetoire right now, it’s one of the fastest growing specialties in respiratory care. In fact, according to a study by the Association of Polysomnographic Technologists, 43% of hospital-based sleep disorders centers are organized under a respiratory care department; 50% of respondents hold a respiratory care credential. CoARC is accrediting add-on programs to respiratory care educational programs to teach students polysomnography.
