COPD Screenings Take Center Stage in Arkansas

Respiratory therapists in Arkansas helped celebrate both RC Week and National COPD Awareness Month by offering free pulmonary function tests to their state legislators in the state capitol. They, along with other health agencies, also provided literature about COPD and the importance of early detection. John Campo, RRT, CPFT, from St. Joseph's Regional Health Center in Hot Springs, was even pictured in the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette giving a test to state Representative Sandra Rodgers.
