For the third year in a row, the AARC is happy to announce that a special member benefit has arrived or will arrive soon in your mailbox! A booklet entitled What Would You Do? An Audience Interactive Review of Four Clinical Cases was mailed directly to you or is available in Adobe Reader format at right and offers these great advantages:

  • A special benefit FOR AARC MEMBERS ONLY
  • Latest information on 4 important aspects of respiratory care
  • 3 CRCE credits
  • Free!

The booklet resulted from a special symposium held at the AARC’s 52th International Respiratory Congress in Las Vegas last December.

Both the presentation of the symposium and the production and mailing of the booklet, were enabled by an unrestricted educational grant from INO Therapeutics.

In the words of Dean Hess, symposium chair, “Respiratory therapists are challenged every day to make important decisions in the care of their patients. Sometimes the questions we face have a clearly correct response. But many times there is no clear-cut best response. Moreover, the results of our actions bring additional questions. This can be simulated in a non-clinical learning environment through use of an audience response system. An audience response system allows an interactive program in which a clinical scenario is presented, the audience responses are quickly tabulated, and the presenter then discusses the responses with the audience. Such a program was presented as a breakfast symposium at last year’s AARC Congress. Herein are the proceedings of this symposium. Each of the faculty presented their clinical case in a very similar manner to how it was presented at the symposium. The questions that were posed to the audience are presented verbatim, along with the percentage of the audience who selected each option.”

Approved for 3.0 contact hours of continuing education credit (CRCE) free of charge to all AARC members, this is a unique opportunity for you to stay ahead of the curve in this ever-changing health care environment.

Make sure you take advantage of another AARC membership benefit!

Full details about obtaining your CRCE credits are included on page 31 of the booklet. As you read the instructions on page 31, you will be asked to proceed to this page that provides you with information on obtaining your credits.
