Military Member Joe Buhain Attends Minnesota Governor’s State of the State Address

AARC members were proud to read all about U.S. Army Sgt. Joe Buhain, BA, RRT, EMT-B, and his recognition as one of the Department of Defense’s “50 Heroes from 50 States” in an article that appeared on the AARC web site a week or so ago.
Joe’s state representative, Mike Beard, took notice of the honor as well, and he was so inspired by Joe’s story he invited him to be his special guest at the State of the State Address delivered to a joint session of the Minnesota legislature on January 17 by Governor Tim Pawlenty.
Joe was happy to attend, and sent us these great photos of himself with Rep. Beard, Gov. Pawlenty, and other officials who were on hand for the event.
State Representative Mike Beard and State Senator Claire Robling were among those offering congratulations to AARC member Joseph Buhain.
Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty and First Lady Mary Pawlenty were also on hand to celebrate Buhain's being named one of 50 American heroes.
