First Five Spring Specialty Section Bulletins Online Now

Members of the Adult Acute Care, Continuing Care & Rehabilitation, Diagnostics, Education, and Home Care Sections can read the Spring issues of their Bulletins online now.

Adult Acute Care: Section Chair Mike Hewitt shares his take on gaining the respect of other health care professionals, and the issue also features great articles on pulse oximetry and ventilator-associated pneumonia.

Continuing Care & Rehabilitation: Articles on a tribute to Dr. Tom Petty and how Medicare changes to the home oxygen provision may be impacting patients join a Notes from the Chair by Debbie Koehl that will update everyone on section activities and progress being made on the pulmonary rehab legislation.

Diagnostics: New Bulletin Editor Russell L. Harris introduces himself to the section and also provides great articles on biologic and mechanical quality control testing, and calibration versus quality control.

Education: Bulletin Editor Dennis Wissing and Section Chair Jeff Ward offer great insights into educational issues in their “Notes” columns, and the issue is packed with articles on everything from human patient simulators in respiratory care to a student’s perspective on the AARC House of Delegates.
