“Doonesbury” Features an RT!

If you’re a regular reader of the Doonesbury cartoon, you were probably surprised to see your profession up front and center in today’s edition.

But there we are, right in frame three! In a plot line involving a Critical Care Air Transport Team, the strip reads, “There’re three of us monitoring him – the intensive care nurse, the respiratory therapist and me . . .”
