Training on LTV 1200 Provided for All

The Centers for Disease Control has recently added the LTV 1200 to the Strategic National Stockpile and has asked the AARC to help train on this equipment.
The National Stockpile is that operation within the CDC that contains mass quantities of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment that can be mobilized in the event of a mass casualty national emergency.
They have asked that the AARC offer a training program for respiratory therapists so that many of you might be prepared to operate this equipment in an emergency if deployed to your area.
Webcasts and archived webcasts are normally available to AARC members only. However for this one offering, to ensure continuity of training across the country and that the largest number of individuals are trained in the event of a national disaster, the archived (posted after live broadcast) version will be made available to anyone who wants to register for the program. Free viewing will be available, but you must pay $15 to earn CRCE credit on the archived program.
General Description of the Program
During this program, an expert faculty will review the Strategic National Stockpile focusing on the LTV 1200 ventilator. The setup up and operation of the ventilator will be detailed and clinical application of the ventilator to the patient will be discussed. The spectrum of disease associated with pandemic flu and the current findings (profound hypoxemia, failure of NIV, etc) will be presented and triage will also be discussed.
