AARC was a big supporter of tobacco regulation that has resulted in oversight by the Food and Drug Administration. Now that government agency is seeking the input of the public as it begins its authority.

The FDA “invites the public to provide information and share views on a wide range of topics, from product content to advertising and marketing,” says their website. All comments will be posted online.

You may submit comments directly to the FDA through their website.

The AARC also recently received kudos from the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids, who wrote to thank the AARC for our ongoing support of the FDA regulation bill (formally known as the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act). Matthew Myers, president of the group said “Please accept my heartfelt gratitude for your work on the campaign to pass this landmark legislation.”
