Two New (and FREE) Educational Opportunities for 2009

2009 has barely just begun, but the AARC is already providing you with great continuing education opportunities. Two brand new sessions of popular existing programs combine with their predecessors to offer a total of 11 free CRCEs—

Reimbursement College 2 builds on the popular course first introduced in 2006 to bring you up to speed on Medicare, Medicaid, and private payor reimbursement. The second course specifically zeroes in on:

• The myths and realities of the reimbursement process,
• Eligibility requirements and benefits of the various Medicare programs,
• The role of the Medicare Administrative Contractors, and
• Filing claims and payor coverage decisions. 

Take both courses in this great series and earn 5 hours of credit (2 hours for the first course and 3 for the second).

Allergy Skin Testing and Smoking Cessation—the Expanded Role of the Respiratory Therapist compliments Indoor Asthma Triggers and the Respiratory Therapist, with essential information on:

• The roles respiratory therapists can fill in the area of skin testing for allergies, and
• How your smoking cessation intervention can help the asthmatic patient.

Like the first course, the new course carries 3 CRCEs, meaning you can earn a total of 6 hours by taking both sessions.
