AARC Members Appointed to Joint Commission PTACs

Five AARC members were recently appointed to two of the Joint Commission’s influential Professional and Technical Advisory Committees (PTACs).
Serving on the Joint Commission Laboratory PTAC are Rebecca L. Meredith, BS, RRT, of Painesville, OH; David L. Vines, MHS, RRT, of San Antonio, TX; and AARC Executive Director Sam P. Giordano, MBA, RRT, FAARC.
Serving on the Joint Commission Home Care PTAC are Joseph S. Lewarski, BS, RRT, FAARC, of North Ridgeville, OH; Robert McCoy, RRT, FAARC, of Apple Valley, MN; and Sam P. Giordano. McCoy is currently chair-elect of the AARC Home Care Section.
The Joint Commission PTACs are designed to assist in important matters pertaining to its accreditation programs. In-person meetings are scheduled for the Home Care PTAC on January 11 and March 20. The Laboratory PTAC will have an in-person meeting sometime next fall. Both PTACs are scheduled for spring conference calls.
